Meyerade un hiver

In pursuit of a more perfect prandium I have yet to address using fine white sugar to sweeten this summer in winter treat. There are four varieties of honey in the larder and meyer slices dripping with it have been a sweet-tart treat all week; so logic has it, just add seltzer. Suppose this makes a swell addendum to the year’s list.

Meyer misty for me

Squeeze all of the juice of one and a half—or two if you please—meyer lemons into a good size glass. Pour or drip about a tablespoonful of fine white sugar or honey—a s y o u w i s h—and stir with a spoon. While you’re stirring gently, begin pouring seltzer until the glass is full.

The foam head collapsed before I could snap this pic for you..
