Keeping it honest

I know. It’s been a while since Daily Prandium’s been hidden from public view. After the trip to California back in May, I decided to take the pressure off of daily posting. For most of the summer, the posts went into a journal written in ink. I am yet to transcribe the scribbles to their respective posting days. Photos, animated photos and videos are being processed as well. Now that it’s nearly autumn season, and once the cool returns, I’ll be making back days public, one by one. So be sure to check back and click around to find what I’ve been up to the past few months.

In terms of food, it was a quiet summer. There were some barbecues and dinners out, some omelettes made at home. But nothing outstanding for a food person like myself (achem). My appetite waned a bit and the tension of a flaky freelance job had me constantly at nerves’ ends. Now the freelance gig is up and class is under way.

A whole new season and a more upbeat and productive mode for me. With the exception of this weekend. The weather here in Gotham’s been hot and muggy, that terribly oppressive weather that makes you take cover in an air conditioned shopping center, or at the office, or just loafing with some friends cooing at their new baby, who also seems a bit distressed by the weather. Already the typical Gothamite the wee one is. Complain, complain, complain—about the weather.

Like quite a lot of these posts lately, I dedicate this to a hot little peanut roasting with her two cool parents.
